Before care registration for the 2023 – 2024 school year is now open, and is offered to families on a first come, first serve basis.
Before care begins daily at 7:00 am – 8:10 am and is managed by one of our on-site staff members. Students must not be dropped off before 7:00 a.m. as there is no adult supervision at that time.
You can select to pay before care fees monthly, by semester, or in one full year payment. See below for before care fees and due dates:

For drop-in service, families must communicate their need for drop-in service to Dr. Fortson via email at deshundria.fortson@k12.dc.gov no later than 6:30 p.m. the night prior to the day they need before care to secure a place for their student.
To determine eligibility to receive a reduced fee, families must complete the SY2023-2024 FARM application. Applications can be found on the DCPS website (https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application) or can be requested from the front office staff.
